Drumroll please… introducing our first ever Music Room! We had so much fun with this basement remodel out in Grain Valley. From secret doors to hidden storage, this project was a joy to create.

Basement Remodel After — Paint Color: Sherwin Williams Eventide

Starting off with our paint colors, we chose Sherwin Williams Eventide on the walls and Sherwin Williams Snowbound for the trim. Couldn’t have done it without the help of our amazing painting team at On Point Painting.

The flooring is a Stainmaster Pet Protect Luxury Vinyl Plank called Honeycomb Oak. And this beautiful black barn door was this one by Calhome.

This custom built-in cabinetry was made using modified version of this Crosley Furniture set, with an extra bench and upgraded hardware. Finished off with a shiplap accent behind the cabinetry and a secret door to hide their electrical panel. 😉

I mean... 😆😍 The stairwell was done in collaboration with the homeowner. We helped with the stair treads and trim while they handled restaining the handrails and painting the balusters. It turned out gorgeous. And find this amazing rug here.

Look at that stair trim detail. 🔥🔥Plus, if you ever need a way to access something inside a wall, but would like it to be minimal, try a paintable access panel. You can find these on Amazon and most big box stores.

One of our favorite details of this project was this custom under-stairs cabinet. The client needed some counter space in this area but also needed hidden storage. Two for one! Custom built to fit her space and finished off with shiplap paneling for a little extra texture. Butcherblock counter as the cherry on top.
